Hijama cupping
$10 per cup

One price, one unit. Most cupping therapy in New York runs $60 to $150 a session. Here there are no packages, no tiers and no consultation fee: the consultation, the electric massage cupping and the red light therapy are given free with every session. You only ever pay for the cups.

The only charge

$10

per cup of hijama. The number of cups is agreed with you first, so you know the total before anything begins.

Included free

In-person consultation

A real conversation about your health, symptoms and medication, which decides where the cups go and how many are needed.

Included free

Electric massage cupping

Cups worked across the back like a massage, loosening tight muscle before any hijama begins.

Included free

Red light therapy

A few minutes of red light to warm and relax the area, so the muscle isn't worked cold.

Most cupping therapy clinics charge separately for a consultation, a massage or red light, or skip them entirely. Here all three come with every session, because they are what makes the hijama work properly. See what cupping therapy costs in NYC for the comparison in full.

Where the cups go

Five ways a session is used

These are not priced differently. Every one is $10 per cup. What changes is placement and how many cups you need, and that is decided together at your free consultation.

Full Body Sunnah Hijama

$10 / cup

Uses the most cups · where most people start

The session most people begin with. Cups are placed on the classical Sunnah points across the upper back and shoulders, the areas the Prophet ﷺ was cupped on, drawing circulation to the surface and releasing stagnant blood. It is the broadest treatment: general fatigue, sluggishness, aches that move around, and a sense of being run down.

Migraine & Headache Hijama

$10 / cup

Few cups · often repeated

Points on the head, base of the skull, neck and upper back for recurring migraines, tension headaches, sinus pressure and the tightness that sits behind the eyes. This is the treatment people most often come back for, and many report longer gaps between attacks after a short course.

Back, Neck & Sciatica

$10 / cup

Cups follow the muscle line

For lower-back pain that never quite goes, frozen or aching shoulders, sciatic pain down the leg, and the stiffness that builds from years of lifting, driving and standing. The free massage cupping does a lot of work here before the hijama points are even placed.

Men & women

Women are treated by Hasina, a female practitioner; men by Ahmad, a male practitioner, in a separate partitioned area. Same method, same hygiene, same $10 per cup. Families are welcome and seen separately.

Medication & conditions

Different medications call for a different approach: fewer cups, different placement, or dry cupping instead. Bring a list of what you take to your consultation and it will be worked around.

Payment & changes

Cash or card at the appointment, once you know your cup count. Please give 24 hours' notice to change a booking so the slot can go to someone else.

When wet cupping should wait

Wet cupping isn't suitable during pregnancy, while severely anemic, on blood-thinning medication, or with certain heart and clotting conditions. Tell the practitioner about your health and medication at your consultation. You'll be offered the massage cupping and red light instead, or asked to speak with your doctor first. She would rather turn a booking away than take a risk with your health.

Not sure how many cups you need?

That's what the free consultation is for. Describe what you're feeling in a message and you'll get an honest answer first.
